The book only has odd page numbers, just as do most books obtained form Web Braille. If I had a BT keyboard I might be able to get to the bottom of this, but I don't, and I don't understand exactly what the problem is, so I'll leave it to those who know.

That might explain why you might not see page numbers. Check what your preferred reading format is, and make sure it's grade two. I don't have access to NLS so can't look at the book myself. Also, you have older software than some of us, so your manual structure and references are no doubt different.
