Ahh yes! That was one of the synths I listed as a suggestion to add to the
BN. I had a DECTalk PC2 since windows 95, and I was upset that I couldn't
use it with any OS after windows 98. I suppose it's all a personal
preference...

I would love to see an alternative synthesizer offered. Keynote, for me
is the worst speech there is. Now, folks, before you fire up the flame
throwers, this is my opinion, I am not suggesting that Keynote go away,
I am suggesting that a 2nd speech synthesizer be added as a possible
option for those of us who simply don't like Keynote speech.
When I use a Braillenote, I never use the speech, because I find the
inflection and rhythm of the speech simply gets on my nerves.
