Hi Mary Ellen,

The BrailleNote mPower, PK, and classic models do in fact work quite well
in combination with the Maestro as well as a laptop or desktop PC. For
example I regularly synchronize my contacts and calendar of the BrailleNote
mPower via USB or bluetooth with Microsoft Outlook, and then place the
Maestro into it's sync cradle. I can then even synchronize my cell phone
through it's PC suite software, resulting in all of my devices containing
up-to-date copies of my contacts, schedule, and any critical documents.
Essential information is then as close as the device that is within reach,
or appropriate for the task at hand.

While you are correct that the PK does not have Infrared support, it's
compact flash slot works very well for exchanging documents directly
between other devices in addition to the synchronization mentioned above.

Matthew, while we are on the subject of maestro and the bn family of
products, I had been talking to Humanware Canada since April about
upgrading
my old trekker to Maestro. Well the Maestro arrived a couple of weeks ago
and as it turns out none too soon. Anyway, I was told that the Maestro and
Pk work well together. How?
According to what I am reading on the owner's manual for maestro bluetooth
andwifi aren't enabled and Pk doesn't to my knowledge have an Ir port so
how
do these two things work together?
