I'm not Deen, but I'd imagine the answer is 'if it's giving you a problem,
install it' and 'if you're not planning on upgrading, update it.'

BrailleNoteand VoiceNote mPower users
Hi Dean,
Thanks for the upgrade/fix. For those of us upgrading to KS 7, and given
that this is slated for release soon, is it worth upgrading at this point?
I haven't experienced the speech loss yet, so I'm reluctant to upgrade
given
the imminent release of KS 7. Also, would this fix be incorporated into
KS
7 and will that delay its release?
Best Regards,
Les

Subject: [Braillenote] new build of KeySoft 6.2 available for BrailleNote
and VoiceNote mPower users
Humanware is proud to inform customers that a new build of KeySoft 6.2 has
been posted to the BrailleNote downloads section of the Humanware website
for BrailleNote and VoiceNote mPower users, allowing customers to upgrade
immediately.
Recently, there was some discussion on the BrailleNote discussion email
list
concerning regular speech loss while working on the BrailleNote mPower and
how disconcerting this is for VoiceNote users. We have taken this, along
with other feedback recently received, very seriously, hence making this
KeySoft patch available today. KeySoft 6.2 build 26, is the same as the
previous build, the difference being a modification in the audio driver,
preventing the regular speech loss previously mentioned.
Please note that an SD card of 512 MB or less in total capacity is
required
to run the upgrade. Full instructions, along with the associated image
file, can be found at the following website address:
http://www.humanware.com/Products/Notetakers/braillenote_downloads.asp
Please do not hesitate to direct any queries to me regarding this
announcement. Any problems encountered during the software upgrade
process,
should be raised with your nearest Humanware office.
