Aww, what a bummer. Still, I'm big on adhering to user agreements, so I
admire you guys fo sticking to them. Guess Audible will just have to be for
computers then.

No, audible.com files are not just regular MP3 files. They are audible's
proprietary format, and the user agreement forbids converting them to
regular MP3 files. So, any device that plays them has to be audible
compliant, and therefore, as of yet, they can't be played on any of the
braille note products. But, I'm hoping and dreaming that they will someday!

HI,
THAT'S NEWS TO ME. I WAS TOLD BY SOMEONE ON THE LIST THAT ONE HAD TO CONVERT
THE FILE TO MP3 AND THEN BURN IT TO CD AND TRANSFER THEM.
SO, NOW I WONDER.

Doesn't Audible let you download your files aas mp3's? Maybe I'm crazy but I
thought they did. if they do, the BN can play MP3's as of 5.1 and up, even
the classics.
HTH,

Hi all,
Well, now I really can't wait until I can upgrade to the Braillenote
empower. These new features are very exciting. Except, I notice there
is no audible support. Jonathan, do you think there will ever be
audible support?
Thanks.
