It runs the length of the bottom of the BrailleNote, and I'm guestimating
is about half as wide as the regular case from the front of the BrailleNote
to the back.

It's a pouch that can be velcroed onto the BrailleNote classic case, to
allow storage of accessories, like a GPS receiver, the adapter, etc.
