Hi Terri, I honestly don't know why there is a problem with the nls page and not other pages. It really is a strange one. But, it would almost have to be related to the way the page is designed. As to why and how keyweb handles the page differently than iexplore, maybe Dean or Jonathan could come in on this one and give us a better explanation.
The end result though is that they sure do handle it differently. I know what you mean about the ease of using the page with windoweyes, and having to get from field to field in keyweb using the thumb keys is definitely odd. I do know the developers spent quite a bit of time trying to work out the problems with the nls page, but I have not heard the precise reasons as to why that particular login page is more difficult to manage and display than other pages. I just know it is. Don On Fri, 19 Aug 2005 22:52:35 -0700, Terri Pannett wrote: Dear Don, I don't understand what the problem is. When I go to the site with my PC, WindowEyes automatically puts me in an edit box and I tab around the site and there are no problems. When I want to download a book, I am able to get right to the login page where all my information has been saved. WindowEyes shows my password with question marks. If Internet Explorer can handle a non-standard site, then why can't Keyweb? What is the difference between the Keyweb browser and Internet Explorer? Is WindowEyes able to present a web page like that one in a user-friendly manner because IEe presents the web page differently from Keyweb? I'm not trying to be argumentative, I'm just trying to understand why Keyweb can't handle the web site as efficiently as IE and WindowEyes. Terri Pannett, Amateur Radio call sign KF6CA.
