Hello Terry,

I am aware that list members have given you the appropriate commands to reply to the sender of a message. Thanks folks!

The reason why we don't allow people to obtain a list of email addresses is to protect a person's privacy if they choose not to send messages to the list from a certain email address. It is the case with some lists that you can go to the list website and get a list of members but you are not able to do that with the lists we run. However, if there is ever a reason to change this, I am able to turn this feature on.

Regards,

Dean;
Is your list serve list to big to send over the e-mail so everyone could
have access to each others e-mail addresses. It sure would be a handy tool so we could proform your request. some times it is hard to get the address
off the e-mail. Think about it.

Hello folks,

Over the last four or five months, the BrailleNote list has been, I
believe, extremely good in achieving its purpose to the BrailleNote
community. However, I, along with other Humanware staff, are receiving
complaints from BrailleNote list members about the level of recent chatter, off topic messages and product comparisons that are being sent to the list.

I would request therefore that these messages not be sent to the list as
these will only make moderating measures necessary. One thing I would
suggest in this regard, is if you are interested in something that you know
is off topic, send an email to the person directly and not to the list,
asking for further information and not asking them to email you directly on
the list as you clog the list with another unnecessary message. In other
words, you be the first person to take the initiative here and take it off
list. If you are unclear on how to do this with a BrailleNote, support
staff will be only too happy to assist.

Last but not least, when you send a message to the BrailleNote list, please
ensure that the message will be originating from the email address that is
subscribed to the BrailleNote list. If messages are sent from addresses
that aren't subscribed to the list, the messages will automatically be
discarded.

Thank you all for your cooperation in these matters.

Regards,
