Hi. have a quick question. I am going to a motell and I want to use the net
and check my email. Can some one tell me how I would go about this on the
braille note? Not sure how to enter pass words and things like that. I know
on the computer you must turn on the forms mode, but I don't have any idea
about navigating on the b n. If any one can help me, I would verry much
appreciate it. I am running 6.11

Hi Pam,
Very cool, indeed! I can utterly relate. For the last several months I
have paid my rent using my mPower--or pre-mPower-BN--and it works
excellently. I have done everything from recharging my online calling
card pin, to buying flash cards, to supporting my coffee addictrion with a
five-pound bag of coffee beans, all with the mPower. It handles websites
so well now, it's amazing! I still haven't gotten over it.
And since I'm here writing this message, I have to brag just a little,
even though I could have done this under KS6.11. I had to leave work late
because of an extremely late driver, so, since it's Friday night, I
thought I'd celebrate getting off work with a little visit to a nice
little bar downtown. After I got seated and served, I thought I'd scan
for wireless networks, just out of curiosity. Much to my surprise, I not
only found a wireless network, but found that it was fully available, with
no security. I proceded to check my Email, download a book from
Bookshare, and answer some mail, one of which is this very message. And
all of it went so smoothly!
I know, none of this is earth-shaking news, but it's so, so cool! I'm
sure this is someone's home network, and that they have no idea that there
is some weird blind person sitting somewhere in a bar taking advantage of
their service, but how cool is it? Very, in my not-so-humble opinion.
Happy Friday, and have a fine and dandy weekend,
Sarah

Very cool. Just made my first online purchase using the MPower. I used
it to order Flint River Ranch Dog Food from feedmypet dot com. (I forgot
how to write it so that it would translate correctly again). Anyway that
site was obviously quite accessable using the MPower, and Josef will be
getting his dog food to prove it.
