I agree. Thanks for posting the BT commands. I've been using a BN 18 BT for almost 4 years now and am still running into cool quick ways to get stuff done. It can be a good bit in between learning these new cool things sometimes, because I guess when it comes to technology I can sometimes be one who says "if it's working why fix it".

Hi Jim,

Thanks for posting the BT commands. I meant to look them up and post them myself, but I hadn't gotten around to it yet. Even after almost three-and-a-half years, I still use that help key occasionally. <Smile>

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for pointing out the other two commands. on a BT Keyboard, to erase
a file, it is backspace with C, dots 1,4, to move a file, it is backspace
with dots 1, 3,4 or backspace with M, to rename a file, it is backspace
with R, dots 1, 2, 3, 5. I wasn't aware of the other two commands. I
guess it pays to read the manual and quick key commands etc. Apparently
Humanware is eliminating more of the need for the file manager slowly but
surely! I don't mind talking about imperfections when imperfections
actually exist. In the case of erasing, moving or renaming files, there
are additional options as is documented in the help file.

Kathy,

When you're at the "file name" prompt, after you have chosen your folder,
space or arrow down to the list of files and choose the one you want to
erase. At this point, press control+i to delete a file, or shift with
read with r to rename a file. Here is where the context sensitive help
really shines. Try it sometime, press the help key when at the "list of
files" prompt, or when pointing to a particular file.

Let me know if this doesn't make sense, and I'll try again.

Oh, thank you, Nicole. Could you please talk me through how to delete a
message from the keyword open file menu. That would certainly be of som
help. I've been unable to find that process thus far.
