Hi Kylee,
The beginning of this will be slightly off topic, so please forgive me
folks. Anyways, the Archos jukebox players and recorders aren't made any
more, but you may be able to find one on ebay or somewhere like that. I
replaced the 20gb hard drive with an 80gb hard drive, flashed the rockbox
firmware on to my jukebox recorder20, and use the 20gb for little backup
jobs. This device takes four double A rechargeable batteries. The USB cord
is a little odd because both ends are like what you would plug in to the
computer. Just plug the cord in to the mp3 player, then hook it up to the
braillenote. Turn it on, and the disk will show up. It's great. With it's
recording feature, you can use a stereo ampped microphone, and record in
stereo. Then you can transfer the files on to the bn. The amp in the
microphone is necessary because you must hook up the mic to the line-in of
the unit. It can also record digitally with a miniplug coax cable. I hope
this helped. If you want to know more, email me off list.
Thanks,
Blake

How interesting, Blake. I thought they were largely inaccessible. Would
you please explain further what this is?
TIA
Kylee
