Okay, will check back in a few hours. It's weird, because everything
else I'm doing on the net is going really fast; it's just this
particular download. Oh well, such is life.

The file is somewhere around 31 megs, so sending as an attachment
wouldn't work.
But, if you're getting the dialog box, it does sound like the
download is starting or at least trying to.
If that doesn't work, try again in a few hours and maybe the net
traffic will clear up a bit.
