If you are talking about copying an audio file using the PC, this is not true.  
You can use control+c to copy any file, including audio ones, from a standard 
list view.

I have only copied an mp3 file once, but I believe you must use the copy 
command in the media player on your PC to copy an audio file.  Copying an audio 
file using control c won't work.
