The access site doesn't have everything the main site does, or at least, you have to go through more steps to find everything. I think also that you can't buy your items without going back to the main site, but they may have changed that. I haven't used the access site in a long time. In fact, I'm so disgusted with amazon's overly cluttered web site, that I rarely shop there anymore. They used to have a text only site that was not as bad as the main site and better than the access site. Not sure if they still do however. If I was going to use the BN to shop on amazon, though, I'd definitely use the access site since it is so simple and easy to use.

Here's a work-around. go to: www.amazon.com/access This site works great on the BN, and it's way faster than the regular amazon site. I have heard somewhere that the access site might not have everything the regular one does, but I have no proof of this, so I'm curious to see what anyone else thinks. But I can't seem to get to the search form. I saved the website as an html file and here is what I got back. I don't know much about html and java but what I'm seeing, perhaps KeyWeb cannot handle all of this java stuff they're implementing now? >Pasted below... >Josh > <html> <head> <title> Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more </title> <meta name="description" content="Online shopping from the earth's biggest selection of books, magazines, music, DVDs, videos, electronics, computers, software, apparel & accessories, shoes, jewelry, tools & hardware, housewares, furniture, sporting goods, beauty & personal care, gourmet food & just about anything else."> <meta name="keywords" content="Amazon, Amazon.com, Books, Online Shopping, Book Store, Magazine, Subscription, Music, CDs, DVDs, Videos, Electronics, Video Games, Computers, Cell Phones, Toys, Games, Apparel, Accessories, Shoes, Jewelry, Watches, Office Products, Sports & Outdoors, Sporting Goods, Baby Products, Health, Personal Care, Beauty, Home, Garden, Bed & Bath, Furniture, Tools, Hardware, Vacuums, Outdoor Living, Automotive Parts, Pet Supplies"> <style type="text/css"><!-- .serif { font-family: times, serif; font-size: small; } .sans { font-famil y >: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small; } .small { font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small; } ..h1 { font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; color: #CC6600; font-size: small; } .h3color { font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; color: #CC6600; font-size: x-small; } .tiny { font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: xx-small; } .websearch-string {font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: xx-small; } .listprice { font-family: arial,verdana,sans-serif; text-decoration: line-through; font-size >___ >To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to >[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit >http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
