That is of course correct however the number of devices running CE is
expanding at a rate that is truly unbelievable. The problem is the more
users of an operating system the more likely some clever person is to
want to get at them. Even Linux is now starting to have problems because
of increased users.

I got this answer from staff at HumanWare. I figure if anyone knows the
answer, they do. According to HW, the BN family is invulnerable to
viruses because they are written for operating systems run on PC's, and
the BN family runs Windows CE, so viruses generally aren't going to
effect the BN's operating system.

Is that really true? I am not so sure for one thing you are operating on
a windows environment the only restricting feature is KeySoft so you
most likely wouldn't get anything that way but what if the virus was in
something on a memory key or hard drive. You can for example install
drivers so you can likely install software. Just because it doesn't work
with KeySoft doesn't restrict what you can do.

Everyone should always be careful no matter what and always keep in mind
that this is a windows.ce based operating system and that KeySoft is
your screen reader application manager.

every computer is vunerable, but the BN won't get hit by anything
because other programs can't run here
