That's what I've also been asking, and without an answer. Kylee ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rose Combs" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'Braillenote List'" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, January 19, 2006 2:25 PM Subject: RE: [Braillenote] How long does calibration take?
The manual is OK, except it does not answer the question I posed yesterday as to if the unit is supposed to stop when it is done or if it stays in a loop and keeps doing the process indefinitely if you are not there to hear test completed. I eventually exited mine yesterday just after it started to recharge process and it charged to 98%, not 100%. However, I don't think I have another day or more to muck around with this. Personally, the one thing I dislike about the mPower is the battery recalibration process. I still need to know, does one cycle complete the process? The manual has comprehensive instructions on how to recalibrate the mPower. Just plug the unit in, go to options menu, then support information mode and press "r" for recalibrate. Then leave the thing be for several hours. You can check on how it's doing at any time by pressing spacebar.
