Isaac,
I get it, and thanks for clarifying. For what it's worth, I feel the exact
same way about writing in Braille. That's why I got a QT BrailleNote. The
thing is, I don't know if the external keyboard would map exactly to the BNQT
keyboard. There may be some commands that work differently than they would on
a unit with a built-in QT keyboard, but I'm not the one to ask, since I've
never laid hands on one of these external keyboards.

Good morning Sarah,
The student uses a voicenote with a qt keyboard. she doesn't have an
mpower. She is not the one who wants to change keyboards. I am the one who
wants to hook a qwerty keyboard to my PK so that I may have a qt and a bt
machine in one. this way I get to type commands rather than braille them.
I honestly hate brailling commands or writing in braille. I find it
awkward and cumbersome. One of the selling points for the PK for me was
the ability to use a qwerty keyboard. If it didn't have this feature, I
don't buy! that was very, very important. so I was asking if anyone
thought I could have the best of both worlds by connecting the qwerty
keyboard to the PK! In other words, would I then be able to use QT
commands instead of BT commands??????????????????????
That's what I'd really like to do!
Isaac
