That is correct. However I am sure that's not grade II. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rusty Perez Sent: Tuesday, September 13, 2005 12:24 AM To: 'Braillenote List' Subject: RE: [Braillenote] grade 1 for german?
Hi Sarai, I remember seeing a list of symbols for Spanish braille, but I don't remember if it was a grade 2 or simply a way to represent the accents. Many of our English symbols like the "the" symbol and the "with" symbol were used for accents. Interesting. There is a grade 2 Spanish Braille but I've never learned it unless the accents are considered grade 2. Even when I was n Spain they didn't use a "grade II" I'll have to ask about that one. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dean Jackson Sent: Monday, September 12, 2005 8:17 PM To: Braillenote List Subject: Re: [Braillenote] grade 1 for german? Hi Sarai, Grade 1.5 is one of the German grades though I don't believe they actually call it as such in German. However, I think Thomas (on this list), would know a lot more about this than I.
