Actually, if you had the product key for each machine, you could do it. You can if you take the correct steps upgrade more than one machine with the same software. I don't want to bore with the details, but I've seen it done.

I believe each version of the software is serialized to each unit. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Ring" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, June 17, 2005 9:59 AM Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Reset Issues You may be right, unfortunately, it would be kind of hard to test this one. I think the only way one might know is to use the same software to upgrade a different machine. You always have to attempt to duplicate conditions exactly in order to isolate a given problem. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Brenda Mueller Sent: Thursday, June 16, 2005 7:04 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Reset Issues Why should the first step be to send the unit back? Couldn't he have gotten a bad copy of the new program? Maybe another copy should be sent out before the unit is rushed back. In addition, if such a disk were sent out, there shouldn't be a charge. After all, if that reset problem is being caused by the new program, then shouldn't this list be swamped with complaints? Just my thoughts.
