One must remember that there are folks who make statements because they feel
the need to say something? There are many, even on this list, who don't
read all their mail thoroughly before responding.

How could anyone tell if the plastic were thinner unless, God forbid,
they broke open the case?
You cannot determine the thickness of something when you only have
access to one side.

Hello, I can assure all on this list that the material used in the
casing
has not changed.

Hello everyone,
TheM power may have thinner plastic, and probably is
lighter.
However with the advancements of plastics and technology, it is probably
stronger.

I'd like to hear how you come by the theory that the MPower case is
inferior. Since it is in a padded case, even if it were, what
difference
would it make if the plastic were thinner?

That person is right on the money with that statement.
I would imagine they did this to make the machine lighter in weight. I
am
most definitely keeping my old friend, the Braille Note 32 just
because
it
is a rare day that it isn't there for me and it is of a different era
but
as I am wont to say, "it woiks, folks, it woiks."

Hi,
I've just read elsewhere from an MPower user that the quality of the
plastic casing is inferior to that on the original BN's and that loss
of
speech happens on a regular basis.
Before splashing out on one of these, I'd appreciate any comments from
current users, please.

Richard Bartholomew
