What about A M? Can that eventually be supported?

Hello Steve, the radio is completely unrelated to any Internet feature,
it's just a regular radio receiver. Your headphones act as an antenna, much
like the FM radios in cell phones and with similar reception strength.

Hi Jonathan

I'm awaiting my Mpower BT, but how does the radio work precisely? Will it
not need an aerial for example? Will you need to be connected to the
internet all the time? For those of us who travel on trains a lot like me,
will I be to listen to radio on a train and will I need to upgrade my
Ambicom wireless card in any way?

The upgrade sounds great and, as my birthday's in January, I should have a
lovely birthday present!

Cheers, Steve

Hi Julie, yes the FM radio is built into the BrailleNote mPower's
hardware.
We're giving you the software to make it go in version 7.

Hi, i'm a new poster to the list!

How cool!
i have a PK and as it is, i'm still trying to get activesync to work with
my
pc...so im not quite sure if i could handle any more functions on the
little
creature right now! i am TOTALLY stoked about the record function for the
pk. that would be a tremendous help for lectures and further exploit the
pk's diminutive size.

what im trying to figure out is, how does the braillenote become an FM
receiver? is the hardware already there for it to work?

looking forward to it!!!
Julie

I am truly looking forward to Key Base. I believe this feature will
prove more useful than most of us can imagine. I wonder if we will be
able to create relational data bases, or will they be flat file data
bases?
My guess is flat file.
Thanks.
