KC, Yes, GPRS service and data service are the same thing. Your second question confused me. What do you mean, can I switch between bluetooth and dial up with my home phone? I only use dial up when I absolutely have to, I have high speed internet at home and use a wireless network to get my mPower online. It is easy to turn bluetooth off and on with my phone, but I have a talking screen reader on my phone, so I'm not sure how much help this would be for you.

This may not help you if you have no GPRS service, but it's worth a try. My cell phone provider is Cingular. In the phone number field in the connection configuration for the cell phone, I typed *99# This is the only way in which I have been able to get the BN to dial and connect with the cell phone. Let me know how this works. I have a different ISP but it is dialup also and I could never get it to work.
