Hi Sarah,
SOrry for the confusion. What I was asking is, when not using Bluetooth
connection, do you disable bluetooth before going to dial-up? (Since you
don't use dial-up, I guess you would [probably now know!)
Thanks for your reply and take care.

KC,
Yes, GPRS service and data service are the same thing. Your second question
confused me. What do you mean, can I switch between bluetooth and dial up
with my home phone? I only use dial up when I absolutely have to, I have
high speed internet at home and use a wireless network to get my mPower
online. It is easy to turn bluetooth off and on with my phone, but I have a
talking screen reader on my phone, so I'm not sure how much help this would
be for you.

Hi Cindy, KC, and List,
As you may know, I have been struggling with the same problem, getting my
cell phone to connect and communicate with my BN via bluetooth. This may
not help you if you have no GPRS service, but it's worth a try. My cell
phone provider is Cingular. In the phone number field in the connection
configuration for the cell phone, I typed
*99#
This is the only way in which I have been able to get the BN to dial and
connect with the cell phone.
Let me know how this works.
HTH

KC,
Let me know if you ever get this to work. I have a different ISP but it
is dialup also and I could never get it to work.

Dear Jeff,
You were a bighelp! My problem is that I didn't want the
data service, only
the ability to dial-up to earthlink. SInce I had no clue
about what you
just told me, it bombed!
I'll be writing to you under separte message. Meantime, GOd bless.
Happy 2006 to you and your family.
