Calm down folks, I'm not trying to lead the BrailleNote discussion astray. A
little while back there was a question about whether they charged your card
when you got on the transplant list or on delivery. My note was simply to
expound on that topic. If you are using a debit card, or a credit card, for
that matter, which doesn't have enough money on it, but will have enough
money on it when your transplant is worked on, then be careful.
Do they take the money when you get on the list? No. Do they probe to see if
the money is there? Yes, but that doesn't insure the money will be there
when the work is done, so the entire thing is hypothetical anyway.

Now I'll shut up and keep my attempts at help to myself.

Rusty

Hello,
It is common practice for companies to preauthorize the sale.
After all, they need to know that the money is available.
All commercial companies follow this practice.
