Richard, getting to the list of files isn't the concern. I can get to the
list. I want to know why the network card inserted makes such a big
difference when inserted when I open this folder to view the list of files.
The Classic BrailleNote, as I said in my first post about this, was only a
little slower and that seems strange to me what with the MPower's faster
processor.
James, thanks for your suggestion, but I tried that and I got the same
results. The folder opened after five minutes or so, but one thing I didn't
try was to put the network card in the side slot, but I think the results
would be the same there, too.

Kylee, the point isn't that I can't open the file. First, I don't want
to
have to use a computer to do that. That defeats the purpose of
portability.
The issue is the fact that the network card seems to make a difference
in
the speed at which the list of files is shown.
