I'd have to be disconnecting and reconnecting things all the time to use the BN at home for internet stuff. and many of the sites i use can't be accessed with the BN yet, or at least I've never managed it, such as audible.com. I also don't have an ethernet card for my BN so I'm still on dial up, have a classic BN still, so it's much slower for the amount of email I get. it just isn't something very practical for me. For me, my BN is truly a note taking device, that substitutes for a computer when I travel. that doesn't diminish its importance in my life. For instance, i am finally starting my new job next week. Last week, I was called and asked what format I'd prefer for my training materials. Verizon was willing to send them out to be embossed. But when they said 2400 pages in braille, I just said let me have it electronically, and I can use it on my braille note. of course, with my luck, right in the middle of training, I'll get called for my transplant. then, I don't know what I'll do. my BN will be invaluable at work for taking notes and studying and following along with my sighted fellow trainees. So, even though I don't prefer to use it as my primary computer at home, it is still crucial to me, on the job. And i use it at home for many things, as well.
