Rhonda: Nothing is for free nothing when you buy something and they tell you shipping is free they are lying to you because they simply build in the price up front. If you can't afford the shipping costs as an add on then you can't afford them if it is hidden. Someone is paying for the people who move the product shipping companies don't work for free and these days it costs a hell of a lot of money to run a truck.
You may be right in that we have picked on him a little however companies must survive or it benefits nobody and always lambasting a company publicly like this on there own list with out having them decide to moderate it and filter everything is something HumanWare should be commended for because it shows that they are interested in what people think and how they feel. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rhonda Clark Sent: Tuesday, September 13, 2005 12:29 PM To: Braillenote List Subject: RE: A sort ofretracktionorqualificationwas-RE:[Braillenote]Gougingthe blindcommunity I'm amazed that Rusty is being put down for his comment. These are the same comments that have been made for weeks, just in a different way. We've complained about the price of units. Let him make his comment; he has that right. I believe his comment is, when you're paying that much money, $45 is quite a bit. He's also right in the fact that many places, if you purchase a large amount, say that shipping is free. Get off his case, please. > ----- Original Message ----- >From: "Rusty Perez" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: "'Braillenote List'" <[email protected] >Date: Tue, 13 Sep 2005 08:39:42 -0700 >Subject: RE: A sort of >retracktionorqualificationwas-RE:[Braillenote]Gougingthe blind >community >Terry, this isn't about me wanting something for nothing because I'm >blind.
