Hi,

If you want to only download part of your email and not download it again next 
time you attempt to download, try reading those messages you do download and 
moving them to the trash.  But, do not empty the trash.  This should prevent 
them from being downloaded again.

Even if you do tell the bn to delete messages from server, they actually aren't 
deleted physically from the server until all messages have been downloaded.  

This is true for the bn and also for many other email programs which run on the 
pc.  

If you cancel the download of email in the middle of the process which is what 
you're actually doing by only downloading a certain number of messages, they 
will 
not be deleted from the server until the whole batch is finished downloading.   

That's just the way email in general works.
