What do you mean by a voice anouncement? I get my messages from them by e-mail
and use Jaws on the computer. Why can't you get them by e-mail and just use
the braille display?

Hello Richard,
I'm flattered that you remember our meeting at the NFB Baltimore Office. I
never mentioned it because I knew you met many people and couldn't be expected
to remember them all! (smile)
Thanks for the kind words.
Actually, this whole incident brought to the fore another issue. I didn't get
the announcement about the KS upgrade options, only a message from a friend
saying it would cost $195; and, nothing about that being the only option.
Upon inquiry, I learned that the reason I'm not on the E-Mai list to get
Humanware announcments is because I don't use speech and some are sent that
way. What I'm wondering is, can't the announcments be sent in text and then
read with speech by those who can hear? (When Humanware tried sending me a
voice announcement, it really screwed up my Braillenote!)
Isn't there any other BN user who has this problem?
KC
