Hi Dean and Sue,

Wouldn't it work if you ran an old version of KeySync (presuambly
installed into Program Files\Pulsedata) and a new one, which by default
installs into Program Files\HumanWare, and then run the old one for the
5.1 and the new one for 7.0 syncing? I can't think of a reason why that
wouldn't work (except it might be very confusing!)

Anyway, if you're just transferring files activeSync is all you need so it
shouldn't be an issue.

I think sometimes people might get the idea we change things just for the
fun of it, so here's the reason:
When I came to do the French localization, it wouldn't accept non-ASCII
characters (such as 'é') within an XML tag. Which is where the names,
etc. used to get put. So it changed from, for example,
<name data="François">
to
<data>name</data><value>François</value>

which is a nicer and more flexible way of doing it anyway.

regards,
Andy.

Hello Sue,

This isn't technically possible, unless you're prepared to keep swapping
versions of KeySync. Again, this is the result of some improvements we
have
had to make to the KeySync application for the sake of reliability,
stability and adding extra language support.
