Hi Sarah,
To be truthful, there are definitely times when the braille display does not
show the spoken information. (One case in point, is my experience with the
dialog box, where it asked if I wanted to continue in an insecure site. There
was something spoken that I didn't get and only found outwhen I o solicited
assistance from Mike Gibson (I think is his last name) to perform the
operation. I don't know if this has been corrected in 7.0, but hope so.)
To be fair, most screen readers have the same deficiency. Fortunately, it
happens less frequently on the BN (knock on wood), which is why I prefer it to
a computer.
Sorry to say, the person who DID download but was not happy with the tones,
became angry with me when I shared Richard and your messages with her.
Needless to say, I am definitely NOT a tech wiz, which is why I bug you all so
often! (smile)
KC
