Hello All,

The only devices which used this "append mode" were the Blazie Products and the FS Millennium products. The rest of the world uses continual insert from cursor. You are asking for a feature which is not standard to how the rest of the world does word processing. It is really
what one is use to.

I had one of those Blazie notetakers on the standard append mode they used and it drove the person crazy who borrowed it since she was use to how the rest of the world does things by placing the cursor and writing from there. I too liked the append to end of file feature but I think it is only used by the above mentioned devices. Yes, these devices could go into the insert mode but what was normally used by these devices wasn't standard. I think it is best to keep down the confusion. That's how I see it.

Hi Carlos,
I'm not sure that I can explain why I like this command or feature, but I just find it helpful sometimes to know that things are going to the end of the file. People who are coming from a braillelite or braille n speak would find this handy as well.

ps. If you had this command, you would not accidently insert text where you don't want it. This happens to me with my mpower sometimes.

I'm curious as to why you wish to have this feature. I have
never come
across any pc programs that do this. The cursor is an insertion
point
meaning that if one begins to type, text will be placed exactly
where the
cursor is located. I always just press space with dots 456 if I
want to go
to the end of a document before typing some text.

Hi Kylee,
What I want to do is be anywhere in the file and be able to type
and have
what ever I type go to the end of the file. This is not a
current feature
of keysoft. With the blazie note takers and now the Braillelite
m20 you can
do this. This is not the same as append block. Stacey and Amigo

You can do that with append block, can't you? It's always been a
feature of
Keysoft, only recently adopted by others.

Hi all,
I'd love to see an append mode simular to what was on the blazie
notetakers. This could be turned on or off. YOu could maybe
set
this in the options menu. I'd also like to see an append mode
to
the clipboard, this way you could copy several things from
different
documents to the clipboard at one time.
