Apparently there is no way in Windows to reassign the virtual con / serial ports. If you notice the more devices that are connected the higher the ports get. My phone is now using com ports 82 and 83. I'm also using a Belkin USB Bluetooth device. I also haven't been able to connect by Bluetooth on my PK and KS 7.

Carl,

I'm absolutely elated to hear you can't change the comm port for bluetooth. I have exactly the same problem where the com port is out of range and I was
beginning to think I was the only one in the world experiencing this.

I am using the Belkin software at the moment and there appears to be no way whatsoever of changing the port assigned for bluetooth, and mine is aroudn
com 14 or higher.

Paul,
I was successful connecting with both usb and ethernet. Can not seem to use
Bluetooth as the virtual serial port is assigned out of the range of Active
sync. I have not been able to find a method to change this assignment in
Windows XP.

Carl,

Good to hear, but is your successful partnership obtained via USB or by
Ethernet?

Paul.
