I don't think any text adventure games let you play against another person, but
it is fun to play them with other people. Believe me, the saying 'two brains
are better than one' certainly can be true when you are trying to figure out
what to do in an adventure game. I've even had fun playing them with two other
people. You can bet the last can of pop in the fridge whether the move just
suggested will be a really stupid one that will get you killed. <grin> Just
save frequently.

I am planning to play games on my BrailleNote with my husband. He has gotten
used to computer speech, so he probably could play just fine if I switched to
eloquence, since that is the speech I have used to make MP3s of books for us to
listen to together. He is also going to install the visual display software
for the BrailleNote on his palm, so that might work out even better.
Unfortunately his palm only has infa-red not bluetooth, so we will see if
listening to speech or trying to maintain a direct line-of-sight connection
works better.

Wonder if anyone will make a BrailleNote visual display program for symbian
cell phones, since they are very common and do frequently have bluetooth. I
know mine does.

Some sighted people think they are beyond and above playing text adventures,
but there are people out there that still enjoy them. I'm glad my husband is
one of those people, since we have been playing text adventures together for a
while now. It is great to have them in the far more convenient place and
format of my BrailleNote. Playing them has been a bit of a hassle until now,
so we didn't start one unless we planned to play for a very long time. Now we
might annoy people in waiting rooms, And air planes. <grin>
