Hi all,

One thing I'd like to see, specially for the deaf-blind but useful to us
as well, is some mode where one BN can take over the lead so that two BN
models can chat together - how neat to talk to a deaf-blind person that
way if you meet and don't know the alphabet as I do. It could be so
simple to use! <SMILE>

Many of my suggestions, particularly that for the Files Menu, have
already been discussed here and I will just say "I agree with so many of
them" and have already voiced my views to HW staff.

The ones I have suggested which nobody else has as yet are, firstly,
relating to the calculator, that this also should contain some
conversion facilities - If this is based on the Nokia phone range (I
have the 6630) and I'd be well happy. There is currency, area, energy,
length, mass, power, pressure, temperature, time, velocity and volume.
(For those of us who don't remember all our maths, these are very useful
indeed!)

I'd love the BlueTooth modes enhanced so that we could copy diary and
contacts directly to mobiles without having to go via ActiveSync. (This
is probably a problem more with Windows CE than HW not wanting to think
about it!)

I'd love to see the facility to set alarms directly from the clock -
nice and simple and straightforward, including a message as to why that
alarm was set - as well as retaining the current alarm feature relating
to the Planner. To have the radio turned on as an alarm sound and have
other alarm sounds from which to choose would also be good.

I really want some of the old games which are not adventures, such as
Simon, Hangman, Scrabble and Chess very badly! <SMILE>

I'll stop there before I get over-greedy! <SMILE>

Subject: [Braillenote] proclamation of equalization and scanner concerns

The proclamation of equalization in the Braille display to the voice
modes. The concerns that I have to address today are not of my benefeit
btu, for the deafblind community. I agree with a statement spoken
before. I would ponder in the ideaology of voice feature instead of the
crutial Braille display features. The deafblind community needs
equalization under in which the United States was founded from our
founding fathers. I would like all on the list to be treated with
equality. We all have the same goals but, the voice of reason of
consideration for the minority of the list is not being heard. I also to
venture in saying this is a responsibility for Humanware to uphold and
maintain the equalization. I also would like to say " The scanner is a
mutural benefit for voice and Braille users." I hope you on to the list
participants would put your suggestions of the deafblind community. With
all the affection of a rallier for this end.

Regards,

Peter Wolfe
