I was always wondering, would it make the BN's battery drain faster if, instead of displaying "I'm talkin until", the braille display was instead exercised like if you hit x at support information mode? ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Subject: [Braillenote] AC adaptor spec / discharging with headphones

Hi Doug,

I'm not sure what the warranty says about plugging in an AC adaptor
other than that supplied, but here's the info, read off the nearest unit
to me, which is keeping my mPower charged up:
output 12V @ 1.2A
the outside of the plug is negative, the inside positive.

regarding discharging with headphones or speaker, electrically speaking it
might be faster to use the speaker, but we actually switch on various
internal components to speed up the discharge, so it probably is a very
minor factor anyway.

regards,
Andy.
