Matthew, I think you'll find that the mPower's way of dealing with
batteries
is very different. It's not only a different battery, there's a whole new
process to be gone through.
Although you don't have the unit, there have been copious messages on this
list regarding mPower battery issues.
A nice bonus, though: the old AC adapter fits nicely in the new mPower,
giving a handy spare charger.

need to go to opsion menu then read with I or space with I for support
information and then f to you will here the I'm talking until my battery
goes flat message and you will want to place te unit some place that it
isnot going to drive you crasty and then recharge again after it is done
discharging.
