The wavelength of FM broadcast signals is such that an antenna is
required. A headphone cable would fulfill this requirement. I have
also seen small antennas that are basically a wire cut to the required
length with a plug at the end that can be inserted into the appropriate
jack. I have a Sangean walkman style AM FM TV audio radio that has an
external speaker. It comes with this type of antenna with a plug that
inserts into the headphone jack so you can listen to the FM radio or TV
over the loud speaker.

Okay. Sorry. I figured it out. I plugged in some headphones and then
the radio was there. I had tried the enter with S for turning the
speaker on and off before , and it didn't seem to work, but everything
is fine now.

I just downloaded and installed version 7 for the mPower this morning.

I can't get the FM radio to work at all. I hear the kind of hiss sound
that
you hear without a station tuned in. When I use space with dot 4 to
scroll
for stations, it tells me no stations are found. Other radios in the
house
work. I tried standing at a window in case it was a signal thing.
What am
I missing?
