Hi Frank, If you want to record from the fm radio directly, you need to go into recording options in the media center and change from the default which is to record from internal microphone to record from fm radio. You would also probably want to change to higher quality recording in there as well.
The lower quality recording should work, but it may not sound as good as you would like. Once you get set, you just start the recorder as you normally would and, of course, make sure the fm radio is on. The recording should then begin from the radio.
