Hello KC.

I am unclear about something. Did you say that your needs have changed
since you first bought your BN, or are you saying that you expect more
because new products are coming out? In general, whatever technology we
have becomes obsulete the day after we buy it. I recall that one week
after I bought a PC with Windows'95, Windows'98 came out. This will
always happen, and happens to everyone, blind or not. We just have to
do the best we can. Sometimes our needs change. We may take a job that
requires that we use a different or new software program. This might
need that we will need to acquire another device, software, screen
reader, Braille display, whatever. It is unrealistic to expect that our
personal finances will be able to support every upgrade that we need in
order to keep pace with technology. In these situations, we may need to
seek help from funding sources such as rehab agencies, service
organizations, or our employers. Remember that the PC is now considered
standard office equipment. Your employer should not expect you to
provide your own PC, as long as your coworkers have access to PC's.
Thus, all you will need is the screen access solution. Again, your
employer or rehab agency should help. Now, as for those who do not have
a need that is related to work or serious study, you are in the same
boat as the rest of humanity, and most folks do not have the latest and
greatest and they find some way to deal with it.

Andy
