Well, I don't have a theory about the Bookshare unpack utility
anymore. I can unzip files successfully with it. I did notice that I am not able to copy this file, but this might always have been the case. Mike, have you tried the different resets, particularly the 1-2-3 or 4-5-6 flavor?

You don't have to be a member of bookshare in order for this to
work, unless there is something wrong with the utility. I have a theory about this, but will do some experimenting before I post about it. Is it true then that a BN in the UK doesn't come with the unpack tool?

Bob:

Good suggestion. Now if the rest of the world could join book
share then
we would all have a solution. As it is this is only applicable
to the
US.
Or anywhere where you can access it.

Hi, Mike and list: The BN does have an unzipping utility--kinda.
It's
the bookshare utility. When you download a zipped file, just
change the
zip extension to bks. You do that from the File Manager Menu, by
hitting R, to rename the file. Then, open it as you would a
Bookshare
book. When it asks for a password, just hit Enter. A note of
caution:
it doesn't work with every zipped file, but it works a good bit
of the
time. Until such time as we get a variant of WinZip, it's okay.
God
bless. Bob and Maxy-wax
