Hi Everyone

I have enjoyed reading the recent discussions on list. I agree I hope something
can be done to improve access to certain Word files.

My question at the moment relates to using the BrailleNote as a Braille display
via bluetooth. I have downloaded the Jaws PC Keyboard Emulator and have read
the instructions provided. I have managed to get the BrailleNote connected via
serial port but am having no luck with bluetooth. I saw a couple of references
to needing Active Sync and this is what I am seeking clarification about. I do
not want to transfer files between my PC and mPower via Active Sync as I use
other methods for this. I want simply to use the mPower as my display. Do I
need to have Active Synnc installed on the PC in order for this to happen? I
was attributing my problem to the fact I am using a bluetooth adapter on my PC
but I do not currently have Active Sync installed on it so wondered if that is
actually the issue. There are two bluetooth ports - com4 and com8 - and I have
tried configuring both of these to Jaws (at different times) with no success.
Any advice welcome.

Cheers
Paula.
