I had this problem happen once, and I got really nervous.
What I did, was a service reset, and everything came up fine.
The service reset, is dots 456 or jkl with the reset button and
the record button.

I can see that my unit is going to have to go in, but any

I charged it overnight after letting it go down to almost
nothing. Now when
I switch it on, all it will say is "main menu". I didn't have
the speech on
when I recharged (I hardly use the speech in fact), but now
that's all it
will do. The display won't work at all. I performed an ordinary
reset, to
no avail.
I'm not sure about the other resets and what they do, as I've
never had to
use them in all the time I've had these machines. Any ideas
would be
welcome, and welcome urgently as I'm supposed to be at work.
