Hi Ray,

If your coleague searches for devices and can't find the bluetooth receiver,
one thing to check is to be sure that the battery in the receiver is charged
and
the receiver is definitely on.

If your friend has a blue logger receiver, this can sometimes be difficult to
determine and the person might want to get some sighted assistance to check the
lights and confirm that the receiver is actually on.

Sometimes, even if the receiver seems to be on and the battery is low, it won't
get detected.

Actually, gps connection is much better under keysoft 7, but it really sounds
like the problem is between the receiver and the MPower way before gps itself
is involved.

Ray do you get a message saying "starting Bluetooth" when the detection
of the receiver begins?

Subject: [Braillenote] Colleague Experiencing GPS Problem on M-Power
with

Hi All:

One of my colleagues is running a Braillenote M-Power which she has just
upgraded to Keysoft 7.0. She is having a problem with her GPS. When
she starts the GPS, it loads the maps just fine but it will not
recognize her GPS Bluetooth receiver. Any ideas on what might be
happening? Any help is appreciated.
