This is Joseph. What is the name of the folder? In this case, you need to open the folder from the File Manager using Directory item. Navigate to the source folder. At the list prompt, press SPACE with x (I think it's READ+x on QT) until you see something like, "list of all, including hidden, files on the (source) folder" where the source folder indicates the folder. if you see the message, "no more files", that means you need to use subdirectory option. if there are some files, delete the files. The folder is ready to be deleted.
note: The folder won't be erased thanks to the following reasons:
if the folder contains subfolders (in that case, you need to switch to directory mode in order to locate the subfolder that way) if the folder contains one or more hidden files (these files won't show up using normal mode. You need to use the mode that tells KeySoft to show hidden files as well as the normal files.). These files must be deleted in order to delete the folder.
I hope this information may help you.
P.S. If the folder is named "Windows," please be cautious when deleting the folder. You need to perform ROM image reset (Reset+dots 1-2-3 or FDS on QT) before deleting this folder. If you delete this folder, you need to reinstall GPS or Multilingual software if you happen to use these software(s). ----- Original Message ----- From: "penny golden" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] Trouble translating then deleting folder

Joseph, it helps very much. Now my only problem is that I have a folder that says it will not erase. I tried erasing it with the C-Dot 7 command and also using the folder manager erase option. I get the message that it cannot be erased because it is being used by another process.
You're batting a thousand here. Can you help me delete that folder?
Thanks. If not, I shall wait for another day.
Thanks so much.
Blessings,
Penny
