I have sometimes found that you need to try that service reset more than once.
Hopefully you won't have to send it in again! <SMILE> -- Carol [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mike Arrigo Sent: Thursday, February 16, 2006 1:24 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Braillenote] m power problem Hi all. Ok, having a problem with my voicenote qt m power, I'm wondering if anyone else has had this. I have a feeling I'm going to need to send it in, and if so, I'm not going to be happy as it will be the second time in 2 months. The first time the problem was very similar, and apparently they replaced the motherboard and the battery. When the battery charge gets down to around 50 percent or so, then very quickly it would drop to 8 percent, and then if I didn't connect the adapter with in 10 minutes or so, the unit would freeze, but if I plugged it in, all was fine. Well this last time, it's completely locked up. I've tried the reset with the adapter plugged in, and that did not work. THe last time I had the problem and called support, they had me try the service reset, so I tried that figuring I had nothing to lose, again no luck. I'm hoping that I might get lucky and once the battery dies completely, I will be able to plug it in and it will reboot itself, that's the only other thing I can think of. Just wondering if anyone else has had any luck fixing something like this. I'm running version 7 by the way, the upgrade installed fine. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote -- No virus found in this incoming message.
