Hi Joseph.  I did everything that you mentioned and the two devices make a
sound once connected from the usb but when I go to get connected and go to
next I can't get anything to happen after that.  I have tried twice and
once I tried it with a friend and another time I read the mannual and
followed it but it says to use a serial connection or inferred connection
first and I am unable to to those at this time.  I wonder if I should call
tech support.  I would think there should be a way to do this via usb
because of the cable I got with the braille note with a usb miny plug and
the regualr usb plug on the other end.
