Hi Joseph. I did everything that you mentioned and the two devices make a sound once connected from the usb but when I go to get connected and go to next I can't get anything to happen after that. I have tried twice and once I tried it with a friend and another time I read the mannual and followed it but it says to use a serial connection or inferred connection first and I am unable to to those at this time. I wonder if I should call tech support. I would think there should be a way to do this via usb because of the cable I got with the braille note with a usb miny plug and the regualr usb plug on the other end.
