Yup they do. They're for a headset, so it's both line in and line out. It's also a mini plug not the normal 3.5MM plug that most headphone and line in jacks are. I am sure someone sells an adapter/cord for that, but I haven't actually seen one.
I meant to try recording to my BN from the phone with my old suction cup with a coil type cord, but hadn't tried yet. I'm happy to hear it works, because I have tried using it with many things that didn't work. Only my old handy cassette player seemed to be sensitive enough, and finding tapes now isn't something I want to try to do. I didn't know about the type of cord that would plug in to the jack for the headset, but then again, I don't have a corded phone that works decently anyway. <grin> that would also require having two phones, or you couldn't listen or talk. Don't worry, any recording I have done has been perfectly leagal. I think that some of the newer phones have line-out jacks on them. If they don't, and I'm going out of my mind, I think that they should. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alex Parks" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "BN Mailing List" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, February 21, 2006 5:51 AM Subject: [Braillenote] Recording to BN from a phone? > All: > > How can you record from a phone to a BN?
