Martha, I think a vibrating feature would be an awesome idea instead of the alarm. Obviously it would help users who are deaf and blind. But I know lots of hearing people use the bivrating feature on cell phones. Its much less intrusive to the public.
A lot of Deaf Blind technology uses a vibrating device that plugs into your equipment. I bet they might even be able to do a wireless one now.
