Yes. You can select which drive and folder the bn will record to.

Speaking of recording, must one always record to main memory?  I know one
can save recordings to a compactflash card, for example, but can one record
to the flashcard to get a longere recording?

Jonathan:  I was thinkingthe other day what a great tool the MPower could be
for broadcasters, if you added a few more facilities,such as being able to
mark particular passages while recording, as you can do on a minidisc
recorder.  It would also be great if one could stop recording in a
particular file, and continue recording later in that file; also a punch-in
record facility would be great, too.  I realize the media center is an
adjunct to a unit that mainly deals with braille, but one an dream, right?
